I didn't see it, but I agree. I hate the way people think that they have the right to judge other people's lives, when they have no insight as to what the situation really is. Everyone keeps saying that she should have her kid taken away? No one has the right to make that decision but child services. Leave her the hell alone... Some people are so damn ignorant.

Personally, I thought it was pretty lame. Matt Lauer didn't really press any questions, whenever she said she didn't want to answer or wanted to move on to the next question, he let her. Britney didn't look like she was taking the interview seriously either...from the way she was dressed to the way she talked with her gum hanging out of her mouth. I thought that was unprofessional and rude. And when she started crying about the paparazzi...I'm sorry, but I thought it was an act. She can cry on cue, didn't she say she was an emotional wreck right now because of her hormones? And she said she loves money...well, with the way she makes it, she should have expected dealing with the paparazzi. You are one of America's biggest icons/singers/celebrities right now, you think people aren't going to want to take your picture? And if the paparazzi bother her so much, why doesn't she just move? She has the money to do so. Paparazzi don't have the money to follow her wherever she goes. I mean, she went to Starbucks in Malibu...and she thought it would be paparazzi-free? I didn't find anything interesting or thought-provoking in the interview...only reinforcement to the ugly rumors you read in all the papers.

My thoughts?
It was "oh, boo-hoo, poor, pitiful me"...the little rich redneck chick isn't getting any privacy.
Look - she's a celebrity.
ANYONE - be it someone in public office, a star of the silver screen or radio or even a crime figure like Pamela Rogers Turner (see link for details) who is as widely known as Britney forfeits their private life when they become famous (or, infamous as in the case of Ms. Turner).
It goes with the territory.
In a few months, she'll want ALL the media to cover her when she pops out another K-Fed offspring.
Personally, I wish she would just disappear.
She's a no talent, whiny chick with too much money and not enough common sense.
Now...that's what I think.
Thanks for asking!

Oh my gosh. . this is just the question I was looking for. I knew somebody had to have asked it.
You would have thought she would have wanted to use the interview to paint herself in a good light, given her recent accusations. Apparently, she doesn't care. What was with the gum chewing and smacking? How trashy is that? And her boobs all hanging out. I mean, I know she's excited she has them due to being pregnant and all, but come on. Some of her comments were really lacking in intelligence, too. I was embarassed for her.

I saw the interview, I am not a fan of Britney Spears, but she is a young mother and wife. She probably has no clue what she is doing and how she got to this stage in her life.

I thought it was crazy. Why would she choose to do an interview on Dateline if she is sick of the papparazzi? Celebrities who want to be left alone get left alone. She likes the attention or she would change her lifestyle. I think she liked it better when they weren't picking on her so much. She's a faker. And she should cover up her breasts a little bit and sit up straight.

She brought it on herself. I don't feel bad for her. If she had stayed in the trailer where she belongs, she'd still have a crappy husband and a couple of kids.
