With the advancements in Ultrasound technology, I would tend to lean that way. However, it would seriously depend on the LMP (1st day of the start of your Last Menstrual Period). Either way, you're only talking a couple of weeks...well within the 37-41 week "acceptable" gestation period.

Due dates aren't carved in marble, they're just guess-timates. Have everything ready by July 20, but it may not come until Aug. 2. Or later. My first was 2 weeks early, my second 4 days late. The only cause for concern is that it's not great for a baby to be born more than 2 weeks after it's due date, because then it starts to lose weight instead of gain. Talk to a doctor to see if you can come up with a more narrow range of dates.

OMG Hun I am sorry they are doing that to you! They say ultrasound is the best way to tell how far along you are because they can measure the baby! Just let nature take it's course, the baby will come when it gets ready and GOOD LUCK arguing with a doctor on your due date! Do you not know when you conceived?

I don't think you should worry about the due date. Make sure you are ready for the baby. Your body should tell you when you will actually have the baby. Term will be anywhere from 38-42 weeks. There are several good pregnancy due date calendars online. Just type that in. Good luck!

Since you are already going to the Dr. quite often, I would asked him or her and explain why you are asking. Maybe they will send you in for another ultra sound to the first place again and they could reconfirm the due date. But it still best to go by your lms. My smallest daughter has the biggest babies and my largest daughter has the smallest babies. And they were all born within days of their due date. So going by the measurements of the baby alone isn't always accurate.

The 2nd one I would say because you are further along and the size can mean alot in terms of your due date.

The dates are within a few weeks of each other so like any other natural delivery, the baby will make the decision when he/she will be born.

When the was first day of you last period! (if you can remember)
Minus 3 months and add 7 days, that should be your due date!

Example: My last period started on April 18, i minus 3 months which takes me to January 18th, add 7 days which is January 25th! (my due date is January 22nd, but close enough!)
Good Luck!

when it comes to the due date nothing is always certain, but it is used as a guide. I would reccomend you go with the first due date.
