Morning sickness is a false term.... it can be any time of the day , any time of the pregnancy, through the entire pregnancy! I had 4 kids 5 pregnancies and I went from a little morning sickness in the beginning with the first one , to none with the second one and the fifth I was sick from the day I conceived....lol! Good Luck! ANGEL :)

I am so like you! I'm 8 weeks and was breezing by until these past few days! Everything is making me sick! I have food aversions and everything!
I was so sick today and my husband came home for lunch and made a baked potato! I had a couple bites (just with butter and s&p) i felt sooo much better!
It's normal for the first trimester and some women get it their whole pregnancy!
I'm sure you'll be ok! Ask your mom or sisters how they reacted to morning sickness!
And Hopefully it clears up after the 12th week! Good luck!

You might wanna watch the vomitting. It could be the flu also. Morning sickness is not always at the start of pregnancy. With my daughter is was right away. With my son It was towards the end of the pregnancy I had it. Make sure to sip water and that you and the baby are still getting norishment. If you feel that you are not handling it well contact you doctor they can help more. i had to chew big red gum to stop the nausea to go away with my daughter. With my son I had to drink water.

The reason why pregnant women trow up is because their stomachs are empty, that is why in the mourning is when they trow up, is when the level of acidity in the stomach is higher. Believe it or no the less you eat the more you trow up, try to keep some rice crackers by your bed and snack on them to keep some think in your belly. I got morning sickens 2 times during my pregnancy, and both times was because i eat an early dinner and because I was to tired to eat, after i trow up I will eat an apple and I will feel better, you can also try cucumber something that refreshes your stomach. This works also if you are nauseous.
You might want to sigh up for inf on you babay at this site I found it very helpful:

you may have stomach flu or something, but yes, late morning sickness is possible. I had it from 8 to 20 weeks of pregnancy! It was no fun. Try some papaya juice. It tastes terrible, but has enzymes in it that will help you will the nasea.

Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting". It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

You can get morning sickness at any time throughout your pregnancy or never experience it at all. I know I didn't get it until I was 8 months along and my mom never had it at all. Nothing to worry about, but if it really bothers you, talk to your doctor.

Actually, it's very common during the first three months of pregnancy, and some women have it even longer. Don't worry so much, just try to enjoy your pregnancy.
