a lot of the 'white' and other races that aint black think the whole rap muzik thing is bad. i luv it cuz its real,and like ice-cube says"it talks about the good, the bad and the ugly". i just wanna know what is so horrible about it. and 'it only talks about drugs, sex, and hoes' is not a reel answer..dat aint tru--

Music is good no matter what it is, it is art and it takes artists to make it. That said keep in mind not everyone is Mozart or Beethoven, there is a lot of crap.
The bad thing about rap music is the whole culture that goes along with it that espouses the thug lifestyle. I understand that there is rap music and there are rappers who do not espouse that but there are many idiots who are out there telling children that selling drugs, killing snitches and screwing b*tches is all there is and that it is the greatest way to live.
If the rappers who were rapping about the bad things really said that they were bad instead of recomending them as the way to live there wouldn't be a problem.

I don't like rap, but I respect it as music. It has a steady beat, and sometimes the lyrics are very interesting and meaningful ,
on the other hand it has no melody and can get very repetative and boring after a while. by the way, i am 'white' and i don't think it's 'horrible' ;)

that's not racist! i think she is trying to make a point here....the only thing that i dislike is the curse words and negative statements the artists use in their music.i like the new way of spelling music---muzik :-)

well the good thin about rap is that they don't mean what they say. but the bad thing is that they are teaching kids the wrong ideas. for example " everyday i'm hussling" that is a bad infulence!
