We are protesting plate tectonics. It is vital that we stop this atrocity known as continental drift. What if the continents collide, or worse, someone gets stuck between two plates pushing against each other? Someone could get hurt, like California. Will you join the picket line outside of the USGS headquarters on Saturday? I propose a party line of peaceful, nonviolent protest, though if people start throwing themselves between two of the seven major plates, I will not argue.

Who will stand up and protect the next generation from this threat, a threat that will not only crush us and stretch us out over millions of light years, but convert all our precious bodily fluids into pure energy!
