ugh i hate celebs like paris hilton, nicole richie, britney spears... UGH
they could use their MILLIONS of dollars to help starving ppl all over the world instead of using their money to have luxurious lives. ick. they SICKEN me

Worshipping celebriries??? I don't know about that, but I think celebrities do things that some of us may not want to do, because of the MONEY. Money makes people powerful. Everyone loves entertainment and when it comes to acting them out, the celebrities are there. The are simply actors/actresses.

Our society more or less inculcates in us what we are, what we are to like, and what we are not to like. Do you think these people who are celebrities are any different? How much the victims to the same snare do you think they in fact are? It is a rare breed indeed that thinks and acts for itself rationally. Too, we are also idolatrous within ourselves and look to others on an even 'lesser' scale. Accept what is good. Reject what is bad.

We as a socity, have been told that from birth we have to respect these "people". BMG Sony and the rest tell us what we are to like and dislike. Look at Old Navy commercials..they say "madras" shorts are in so we go and purchese these things even if we look bad in the colours. our socity are sheep.
