I like PRI - Public Radio International. Usually broadcast on NPR radio stations. They seem to be unbiased and just report the facts.

Watch Fox News..... cable news station.

Bill O'Reilly is the main attraction. His show THE O'REILLY FACTOR has devastated the competition. It is also being broadcast in many foreign countries.

You can trust Bill for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, he is too clever to think that even the smallest misstatement won't be immediately highlighted by the bloggers.

John Kasich is a former congressman from Ohio. He's about as honest and Middle America as you can get.

Hannity and Colmes is another good show, and would be better if Sean Hannity would shut up for 10 seconds and let people answer.

The Fox News shows always have lots of lively guests, ranging from Black Panther leaders to Ann Coulter.... and everything in between.

The motto of Fox News is "Fair and Balanced". Since most of the hosts have the policy of letting the guest have the last word on the subject, no one can accuse them of not being fair.

Well, as an outsider, I would argue that at the moment, you cannot trust that you are recieving all the correct information about international matters, in the US media. No media is entirely unbiased, but I would suggest that you use the internet and use the BBC News website, and a host of other news sources, and come to your own opinion about reported matters. In any case, please avoid FOX News.

I don't know of any "independent media" in the US. FOX News is mostly Conservative, CNN leans a bit Liberal, but they do have some Conservative shows...tough call. I don't know much about it, but NPR may be independent.
By the way...FOX News is not "fair and balanced." If you watch Hannity and Colmes, you'll see who has the most air time. Hannity is Republican and Colmes is Democrat. Colmes barely speaks.

You know conservatives say watch Fox news, liberals say NPR.
I'm not sure that you can really "trust" any media outlet but the best way to stay informed is to watch them all.

On the internet check out NPR/BBC, Cnn and Fox news websites. Don't let networks tell you they present news that is "fair and balanced" just watch them all and make up your own mind.

NPR, BBC are about the only ones that don't have an agenda. I have noticed how biased the TV and other radio stations have become. Some slightly biased, other very blatant.

If you want unbiased radio to continue, the Reps in office are about to cut funding for that last holdout in unbiased media, PBS and NPR. Email or call your congressperson. Mine is Sue Myrick and she is a lost cause, completely owes her soul to to big business and the ruling fascists.

In a word, no.
Any media operated by humans is sure to have bias. Just watch it all and think for yourself. You'll find both conservative and liberal bias all over. Keep alert of catch words/phrases, like "I think" or "it seems" or "might be", etc. that show opinion. News is news you just have to train yourself to see through the opinion.

What....are you trying to say you can't trust the syndicated news to be fair and unbaises? OMG I'm gonna have to turn of Fox News and do some research now.

There is always bias and you can't seem to avoid it, so I recommend a bit of multi sourcing. That way you can ensure balance because you hear both arguements. Trust no one completely.

NPR is the only media outlet that is independent.
