In an interview he revealed NASA did not allow him to move the shuttle.This trick was done in front of a live audiance.Do you think the audiance was paid to say the Shuttle had vanished?

He shifted the audience. It's the same trick magicians have used to disappear the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, and the Washington Monument. The audience and stage are shifted, moving the "object" out of view. Complex machinery, but hardly magic.

The image of the shuttle before the curtain raised looked almost like a portrait and not the actual shuttle...It could have been that the audience was not watching a screen tv and not an actual shuttle...There might have been a before and after footage involved but I cant say how. Just my opinion
