Declassified program such as MK-Ultra clearly show the interest our governemnt has in using the TV to manipulate the minda of the populace.

TV's have even been designed with a flicker that induces the watcher into a relaxed and hyper suggestive state to make the brain washing and propaganda that much more effective.

I AGREE and all you have to do is watch fox news to see propaganda in its purest form

While the media may well have the power of manipulation no doubt it is not government controlled by the CIA...it is however under an economic control of sorts by advertisers..which actually has a great deal of control over the government in the form of lobbies which help to get politicians elected....

About the question, no thats the whole point of propaganda these days. It's all subliminal, the best working commercials and propaganda are the ones that you don't notice.

coca cola use to use the flickering efffect in britain in the 70's i think it was apparantley it does work i was too young to realise at the time though
