These people are so crazed they can't even let Clinton pretend she supports our troops. You can hear them in the background screaming Nooo, Nooo, NOOOOO! so loud that Clinton has to speak louder to drown them out even with a microphone. These are code Pink people, the ones who dominate the anti-war movement expressing their wish that our troops die.

Ironic that these people are killing any hope Clinton has of getting elected. They won't even allow her to pretend to be a reasonable moderate (which she is not, btw). A major chunk of the democratic party hates america and want us all to die, is the bottom line. They are hoping that if they prevent us from succeeding in the middle east that those terrorists will come here and make 9/11 an every day occurance.

Might be time for a reality check, huh? They don't hate the troops, just the policies leading to the war for oil.

I don't think these people hate our troops. There is a big difference between disagreeing with our involvement in Iraq and hating the people fighting. I think it's possible to support our troops even if one doesn't support the war. That is what Senator Clinton is doing. One of the great things about a Democracy is freedom of speech and anyone in America has the right to stand up for what they believe. Not to do so is against everything this country was built on. The democrats and liberals are simply stating their opinion. And I definitely disagree that the democrats wish our troops any harm at all. In fact they want the war to end to save our troops lives from ending in vain. To say that they hope a terrible incident like 9/11 happens again and that they want Americans to die is ludicrous and anti-American. As a true blue American, I am offended by your senseless pandering.

Now why in the world would any American want the troops to die. In fact it is quite the opposite, these people you mentioned want the troops to live, they are tired of seeing them die for a questionable war that is more likely putting us at higher risk for attack. There was no link between Al Queda and Iraq before but there is now. One may point out that they may even try harder to hit America inside America to force Bush to pull troops away from Iraq to protect American territory better (Incidentally something he should have been doing all along anyway).

Having said that, it really is too late to pull them back out now. Doing so would only give the impression to currently undecided muslims that the insurgency and the terrorists are strong enough to fight off American might. Which may only convince them to join the terrrorists at a time when they are probably severely weakened. But George Bush must do more to listen to both his commanders and generals to bring a swifter end to this war already.

Most of what I would say in reply has already been eloquently phrased by those who posted before me.

I will add a couple of things.

First, read your own sentence: "A major chunk of the democratic party hates america and wants us all to die, is the bottom line." By definition, "us all" would include themselves. That would make for a rather pyrrhic victory for them wouldn't it?

Second, you are correct that a sizeable chunk of the democratic party is just fuc***g loony. I wish they would quit trying to disarm me and other law-abiding gun owners who own firearms as protection against enemies from within (including a fascist, neo-con RepublicaNazi police state) as well as without. Further, I resent paying tax dollars to provide education for the children of illegal aliens and other benefits that they claim as "rights." If these DemoCommunists had their way, we would be prostrate before their masters in Peking and the Kremlin>

That being said, there are as many, if not more, looney tunes existing in the ranks of the RepbulicaNazis now as in the Demos. Israel has become the tail wagging the American dog, as far as Middle Eastern foreign policy is concerned. All those illegals? Great source of cheap labor for the Republican-leaning big business sorts, at the expense of American jobs. Did you really think once they get here, they'll all be content to work at MacDonald's? Ask yourself this question? What is the direct consequence of invading 2 Middle Eastern countries and threatening a 3d? Of course, futures speculators get nervous, and the price of crude skyrockets. Pretty good way to pay back W's (and Condi's and Cheney's) friends in Big Oil - especially when you can wrap it all up in patriotic slogans, etc. Clinton: $1.50/gallon; W: $3.00/gallon. Coincidence? Surrrrrrrre. And don't forget the all important need to amend the US Constitution, for Christ's sake. Otherwise them damn queers might marry and take over the whole gol durn country. Who cares that the National Debt is almost $NINE TRILLION DOLLARS?????? (That's $30K apiece for every US citizen, my friends). Global warming? Ignore it and it'll go away? Pissed off that someone disagreed with you, even proved you wrong about Nigerian uranium purchases? Out their wife, an undercover US intelligence agent. You remember US intelligence, don't you? The first line of defense against terrorism? Bet that did wonders for morale - just like being scape goated for 9/11>

What were you saying again about how bad the democrats were?

Oh yeah, one more thing. I have opposed the "war" in Iraq (how many Iraqis flew planes into the WTC?) from the outset. Next person within reach who accuses me of rooting for our troops to get killed as a consequence is going to... Oh well, why spoil the surprise. Isn't it ironic how many pro-"war" people are dead set on bringing democracy (which presumably includes some degree of free speech) to Iraq, are opposed to those same freedoms being exercised right here?

You want your war and for everyone to like it too. Not gonna happen.

Just to comment on your last line...9/11 is already an everyday occurance. It's just that it's happening each day to our troops fighting in Iraq. We love our troops, and never want to see them injured or killed needlessly. We simply feel that Bush misled this nation to satisfy his own agenda. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. They had no WMD's.
I supported the war in Afganistan because that was where the Taliban was and they were harboring Al Qaida. There's a big difference.

Well, the Republicans have some really odd people to the far side who are 2nd Amendment freaks, and who want to send troops everywhere for democracy (which doesn't work in all situations, I might add). Reasonable Democrats support the troops, but would like to see them brought home from Iraq and Afghanistan such that they are safer here than "over there."

What it comes down to is that people in America have to much freedom. They have so much that they do not know what to do with it.
Also the fact that a large and growing majority of Americans are idiots. They are uneducated in the politics because they refuse to watch cnn(or any news), They then turn to Bands and Tv for political standing.
So then when a problem rises or a situation that they do not agree with they act in the most extreme way they know how.

Go visit the Vietnam Memorial. Take a good long look at it. Those youngsters whose names are on the wall were about 20 yrs old when they died in Vietnam. Do you think Vietnam was worth it?

I hope so, because they are going to find a spot for the Iraq War Memorial on the Mall also. We lost because of the ignorance of our leaders and the talking points of the followers.

such a foolish young man you are, you should have saved your 5 points and not ask question about such matters unless you have served in war as i have and know which end it up, why do so many people here ask so many questions that are all cut and dried in there head already? if you have a strong opinion of something young man, its ok to have but don't bring it here and ask questions that you already haved the answer fixed in your mind, just in order to advertise false information to those here outside of the usa, they tend to believe everything that is written or that they hear
