Let them meet you, I am sure after that they probably wouldn't consider it anyway. Or better yet show them your spelling skills.
I hope you are kidding about this Good Ol' Boys Club...

It is possible that your club was started by men with considerable resources, gained from their success in a society which favored their gender out of bias. Therefore, it isn't fair now to tell these women to find their own sports club, since they did not historically have access to the resources to start their own and likely do not have such access now.
Is it neccesary for you to enjoy male companionship in an expensive club (founded with the fruits of patriarchy) or can't you talk sports and business elsewhere? Indeed, why couldn't you talk sports and business in a club where women were present? I don't think the average woman is so unreasonable that they'd be riled up by sports and business topics.
Unless you mean you want to talk about things most women WOULD be justified in being upset by, in which case, you are really asking how you continue doing something unfair or bigoted without being criticized or inconvenienced.
My answer isn't a way to stop women from joining the club. It's encouragment to stop thinking in a way that makes you think women shouldn't join.

First, the United States Constitution guarantees us freedom of Speech and Freedom of Association. Provided your club does not practice invidious discriminitory practices based upon race or or national origin then you should be alright. Examples of organizations Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other fraternal organziations where people with common interests are allowed to associate. The 14th Amend of the Constitution and the Equal Protection Clause apply under specific circumstances. For example, a restaurant open to the General Public cannot refuse service based upon gender, race, ethnic origin, etc. Your club is private. Hence, your freedom of association is even stronger than if the club was offered to the public. It is not.
I would suggest that you draft rules for membership, require the entire club make a vote and if there is even one "No" then the application is denied. This could apply to both men and women in order to

Best of luck on that one. My women's-only gym just lost the lawsuit on them because some guy had nothing better to do with his spare time. It wasn't as if we didn't have 20 other co-ed gyms in town. He just wanted to make some money, and some noise. Guess he got it.
Its too bad because sometimes it is nice to be able to go to a private club.... and the whole point IS that it is actually... private.
If you pay the money, you should be able to do so as long as the establishment is respectable. Oh well... sorry, I don't have a solution, but best of luck anyways.

I fully believe that men need places to discuss "guy stuff" and be fulfilled that way. Women don't seem to understand that men can't be around women all the time, and that they think way differently than we do, and have different needs.
Try decorating it with lots of deer heads and stuff like that. That would keep me away, for sure.
Hope it works out. Maybe they should just start one for women. Nothin' wrong with that!

What freaking century do you live in. Sexist Pig!! Also, have you ever heard of womens' rights? Equal society? I know a number of sports minded women. What, are you worried that the women will get a better golf score? Why do feel so threatened? Are you afraid of women?

Sure. Cut your balls off and hand them in at the door. Any women coming by will understand what that means, and will lose interest in joining.
