700 megs divided by picture size = your answer
It is really hard to give you an exact answer since images can differ drastically in size. Lets say for example that each photo is 2.5 megs in size...700/2.5=280 images
Wow, some of the answers below are....ummmm...lets just say interesting??? Has anyone ever heard the saying, "Boy you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed" -or- "Boy you aren't the brightest crayon in the box"??? Well now you have!

That really depends on the picture size.... An 800MB disk will hold 80 pics at 1mb each.

well your CS should be a blank 700 MB CD-R...i can't tell you how many pictures you can save on it cause each picture differs in size according to its quality, resolution, size, etc,,,,,
But you can store many pictures on your blank CD...
if you want..you can use "compression programs" like WinZip to compress the pictures and make their size smaller...download for free from: www.winzip.com
Good luck
