Tylenol is nephrotoxic which means it is toxic to the kidneys. If your hurting from exerting your muscles you should take ibuprofen instead of tylenol. It won't hurt you to take 4 tylenol but the extra won't give you the extra pain releif you are seeking. Next time try just taking the recommended dose of tylenol and if it doesn't work alternate ibuprofen. If you repeatedly talk over the recommended dose of tylenol you will hurt yourself

It depends on how many mg's was in each one. If they were only 200 mg each, and you took four, so 800 mg altogether, you will be fine. Although it is not recommended to take higher than 1000 in one day, nothing bad it going to happen. If you do it repeatedly, if will eventually cause liver damage

If you only took 4 one time-probably an upset stomach. Over time, serious medical complications including death. A man I went to church with died b/c he took a crazy amt of tylenol to ease back pain - he died of liver failure.

absolutely, use an alternative!!!

4 * 200 mg of an ibuprofen product ie. Advil, Motrin or generic..

this particular drug was formulated to help relieve muscle pain..

800mgs is prescription strength...
i am no doctor...but it would seem, to this mom, that that would meet your needs much better.

Probably nothing but I wouldn't make a habit of it. You may want to try an anti-inflammatory such as Motrin or Advil.

you can damage your liver. Tylenol overdose is currently the major reason for emergency liver transplants in the US.

I had a friend that used to joke about acetaminophen overdoses leaving you "in the ******". :-)

It will not have any noticeable effect but will cause liver damage. Don't do it.
