Because in my country India, we have one of the most ancient civilisations on this planet (way back thousands of years before Christ). We also have religious and cultural freedom. We have the most variety (without exception) of food, languages, cultures, religions, races than any other country in the world. We have oceans, deserts, lakes, rivers, the highest mountains, jungles, tigers, elephants - you name it!
We are the world's largest democracy that has been successfully thriving since 1947. The only country in this region of South Asia that has never succumbed to dictatorship. We are the world's fastest growing free market economy. We have the largest film industry in the world (yup, Bollywood makes many more movies than Hollywood every year - thank you very much).
We are the most spiritual nation in the whole wide world, yet live in this world successfully. We have more computer geeks than any other nation in the world.
We have some of the best artists, authors, musicians, scientists, businesspeople in the world.
We have all the freedom and liberty you can think of. Now we are growing and getting far ahead of most other countries. But at the same time we are humble in our approach and we respect the sovereignty and independence of other nations. We have one of the most powerful military forces in the world. We are one of the few countries with nuclear weapons (though I hate nuclear weapons). We are one of the few nations in the world that have an indigenous satellite production and rocket based orbital delivery system. Hmm what else, yup we love our mutton biriyani, tandoori chicken, samosas, idlis, dhoklas and chai.
Hmm, is there anything else..
Heck, I'm just getting started. Namaste and Jai Hind!

America is obviously the best country. Everyone wants to come here, even the enimies of America. We have rights, freedom and we are not a war torn country. We have clean water, health care, jobs, welfare to help those who need help (and some of those who don't), we have clean cities, good roads, drainage and sewer, homes, no warlords, and Charity. We have football, hockey, soccer, basballbasketball. We have world series, National champions. We have the super bowl, we built the internet, invented cars, perfected computers and mastered software, we have NASA, and zoo's. We are the country that brought Rock N Roll, Blues, Jazz, Country Western, Rap and R&B to the world. We made hip hop, and Hollywood made movies. We don't blow up a cafe or a school bus full of kids for the false claim of good for a God. You can do almost anything here. We have parks, public places to visit, we have history, libraries for those who seek. We have it all. We have public education, private education and higher education, transportation, protection, stable government and most of all we have OPPORTUNITY. We have currency that is accepted in every country in this world including those who hate us (China, Cuba, N Korea, all the middle east countries and so on) and we go to the defense of those who hate us when they are in need so they can hate us even more. We are great because we do what no other country can or will do. And we have the men and women who wear the uniform who risk all not for themselves, but for their country and for their world! We feed the hungry, and make the world spin and we do all this with a small amount we pay in taxes. I give 20% of what I earn to support this and I love the fact we do it. I am proud of America and I am proud to be part of America!

I have never been to another country so i can't say that there is better. I know its WAY better than living in Iran, or Iraq or most middle eastern countries or Northern or Eastern African Countries.
I guess it comes down to this: I feel happy and safe in the USA and I make just enough to provide for my family.

It's not. If I could, I would move to Canada. It's a pretty good country to live in. We do have a stable government. We have a lot of freedoms, well if you're not an immigrant, or a suspected terrorist...

There is no best country. There may be countries that have a better economy or better lives btu it's not about how better it is. It's about how you feel about and if you are comfortable with it! Because if not there would be no best country!

We have free health care, every country in the world loves us, we are a cultural melting pot and an example of different races living together in harmony, we are free, we have a high standard of living, we feel safe to walk down any street late at night, we have uncorrupt police forces and we are happy friendly people.

I'm from Singapore. Well I don't really 100% like my country but hey, at least cost of living is affordable here. There's no high taxes and such...so yeah...am ok with it. After all, Singapore is such a small country but have really advanced over the years...

To the true thinker, there is no country on Earth that is "the best." More proper terms would be "which country sucks the least." Because from what I've seen, all of them suck.
