The best advice I received when I was choosing my career was...: When you don't have to think of anything, in other words, when your mind is free to do whatever it wants to do... what do you think about? Your answer is your career.

The best way to choese a Career is to follow your heart. What are the thing you really like doing? In addition you have to think of the standard of living you expect to have in the furture. Are you will to relocate to another city? Do you want a home, a car? Material factors play an important role in your career decision. But by far the most important thing is to do the things that make you happe.
Best of luck,
C

You seem to be afraid to articulate what you like and find out you're not good at it, or you're just going through a phase of indifference to everything. Really, there must be a couple of things you like and you're good at. There is great book called "Do What You Are." I forgot the authors but based on a Jungian Briggs-Myers test, it will help you chose the right career for you, and it's fun to do.

I'm going to assume that you are young enough to change the direction of your life, so I'm going to tell you something that I didn't discover until it is too late:
They actually pay people to paint swimsuits on supermodels. I'm so mad that my high school career counselor never once brought that up.

Aim for a job that will make you at least $100,000 a year. You will be able to pay all your bills and have alittle extra. Because when it comes right down to it we work to get paid

You don't like anything? Come on... there must be a) something you like and b) someone who will pay you to do it.
