Depends on how much you can tolerate. Basically, everyone will get hemorrhoids at some point of their life and the best way to keep them under control is to use an over the counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository. Sometimes they get bad enough to have surgery, but if you take care of them as soon as you notice it, you should be able to avoid costly doctor visits.

Hemorrhoids are swollen, inflamed veins in the anus and they develop due to too much pressure put on the veins in the anal area. In some rare cases they disappear, but in most cases they grow and proper treatment is necessary.

The most common cause for hemorrhoids to develop is constipation, but they can also develop due to a genetic predisposition, pregnancy, significant overweight, overeating, heavy lifting, acid/alkaline imbalance, fatigue liver, Vitamin B-6 deficiency. Sitting or standing in one position for long periods of time and lack of exercise can contribute to the development of hemorrhoids.

While treating hemorrhoids it is necessary also to treat the cause of hemorrhoids, otherwise they return. To be clear: if your hemorrhoids develop due to constipation, if you treat hemorrhoids they will disappear, but unless you also treat the constipation (cause of hemorrhoids), they will sooner or later come back. The same is with other causes of hemorrhoids.

There are various treatment options available in the market - creams, pills, suppositories.
