The babys weight most likely...I get that too, usually it's followed by a foot getting stuck behind there, thats always fun (not)!
As the baby gets bigger now and starts to put on weight you will probably feel lots of new aches and pains. I just started having sharp abdominal pains (I'm 34 weeks), really low, towards my pelvis, oh they are awful...I guess it's the tendons streching because the baby is putting on weight so fast.
Take care of yourself and try and enjoy your last few weeks of pregnancy and if it gets too bad or unbearable, always call your doc just to be safe.

Is it pain or discomfort?
Remember everything is stretching and moving to make room for baby to come out.
Sometimes I feel pressure in that area. Not pain.
If you feel it's painful see your doctor.
Don't take any chances.
The worst the doc can say is everythings ok
Better to be safe then sorry

I have 2 babies & for me it was always stretching pains. Have you asked you doctor?? I found the answers to my simple questions in "what to expect when you're
expecting" But always, as a general rule, ask your doctor anytime you are concerned. NO question is too little when it concerns your baby's health, ask you DR., afterall that's whatthey are paid for. Just call the office, even after hours, the answering service can page them for you. Good luck & happy pregnancy :) !!

Hi there. I am at 30 weeks. The pain you are experiencing is due to a release of hormones called relaxin. Your hips and muscles down there are spreading, to accompany baby. Believe me, it only gets worse!!

Baby resting on your pelvis and possible spreading of hips to allow for a more comfortable birth. If it gets too severe go see a doctor.
