Because you're growing up as a human being.

Everyone has qualities that are good it's a matter of recognizing that -- and when you do, there is something you can relate to, even if it is painful...there is a bit of ourselves in everyone else we will ever meet, even those that annoy us...so be aware of this fact, and you'll find more fulfilling relationships as life goes on...

Because hate and love are actually quite closely related. They are 2 of the strongest feelings in the human heart.
Other than that reasoning.... um, you maybe just woke up?

Perhaps because we are actually the most hated and discriminated against group of people but we don't play the race card or proclaim our innocence at every step.
We just swallow it and move on because we know that everybody else sucks.

Because you woke up and realized --People are people--judge them by their merits, not their skin color, sexual preference, taste in clothing, where they worship, or if they don't...make a decision about a person after you've given them a chance to show you who they are...cuz there are alot of jerks in the world...and there are even more cool people... and they come in every size and color. Now, everybody play nice and be cool to one another, ya dig?

Hate is a "self-defeating" emotion.

Plato said, "He who HATES, hurts MORE than he who is HATED."

Explanation, all the white people you hated did not stay awake at night worrying about you hating them; but you probably did stay awake at night hating them.

Why do you love them now? You have grown up.

It could be for the same reason hate usually drowns in a sea of facts. Because we're all alike. The same.
