I guess they feel loyalty to a party even if the party goes against the issue that means the dearest to them. Maybe they feel that they can deal with it if other issues are met by the party.

People tend to vote along party lines because they don't care enough to actually research most issues and make an informed decision. Instead, they rely on what they deem acceptable or reliable media sources to persuade them and vote accordingly. (i.e. A person who relies on Republican-supported newspapers, radio stations, television stations, etc., is likely to vote according to the bias that they receive through those media channels, and vice versa for Democratic-sponsored media sources)

I care more about the issues. If my party is voting in things I don't agree, with I will vote against them.

People get sucked in by the party non-sense. It really doesn't matter because both parties lie and never live up to their word. People like to be grouped under a neat umbrella.

The real issues are Iraq, Katrina, & Gov. Corruption.
All other issues were created to divert our attention.
Therefor - I go with the person, not the party.

You thought these men really had your best interest in mind. They had your pocket book and the vainity of the one world orders compliments. Debt 3.4 to 8.4 trillion dollars thanks Republicans and people that leave these guys in office.
