Your best bet is to leave this journey untaken. There are way to many scams on credit cards and email accounts coming from Nigeria. Leave well enough alone and find an american email pal.

There's no way to tell for sure. When you set up a Yahoo account, you can enter pretty much anything that you want and the system will accept it.

I would not have any contact at all with anyone claiming to be from Nigeria. It is the most corrupt society on the planet, starting with the government.
