In Tamil Nadu, North of Coimbatore, visit the Nilgiris. Ooty is the most well known destinations but others, including Coonoor, Kotagiri, Wellington also are very beautiful.

I have visited all the places mentioned by others. I have visited Pithoragarh thrice.
Pithorgarh is supposed to be a mini-Kahsmir. Pithoragarh is situated in the Soar valley of the Kumaon range of Himalayas. You can go there only by road. The route is Delhi-Moradabad-Tanakpur-Champawat-Lohaghat-Pithoragarh.
