The only reference to a star brick I can find is the one located here:

http://ah.phpwebhosting.com/a/DCTNRY/mat/brick/clement/1/source/18.html

It came from a company called "Star Brick Co" and it appears to be somewhat of a collectors item these days. I have scoured the other brick companies with no mention of any other bricks matching your description.

However, you probably could call up a brick manufacturer and ask them if they do custom bricks with shapes. I know the process of brick making would make it somewhat easy to do shapes in it. They use to stamp bricks all the time in the old days.

Sorry I couldn't help further.

These guys will do it as (I think) a custom job:

The "lone star" is of course a Texas thing, and since every underpass in the Dallas area has got a masonry block in the shape of the state of Texas I sort of feel like you ought to be able to walk into your average Texas brickyard and find a brick with the "lonestar state" stamp you're looking for.

Good luck....
