If you have Windows XP and are using powerpoint. you just go to 'insert' on the top tool bar, then go to 'movies and sounds' then you go to 'sound from file' and then it will ask you to browse for the music that you want on your presentation. You probably have windows media player so just look in your documents and then under ' my music you should see the song you want to put in. Click on it and then a small horn looking object appear on the powerpoint. On the side you should have a small window that says 'getting started at the top'. Click on the arrow on that bar and then go to 'custom animation'. You should see your selected music on the little window below. Right click on it and chose 'effect options'. This should allow you to select the starting time and so on. Hope that helped.

If you are using Windows Movie Maker. Just select import music from the side window and chose your song. It should end up in the middle on the screen. Grab it and drag it onto the small film strip at the bottom. There are two film strips. One for sound and one for the video. Make sure you drag it to the sound film.
