Most items would disappear off of the shelves.
Sadly the USA prefers to buy more goods from the rest of the world than the rest of the world cares to buy from the USA.
That is why the USA has a massive trade deficit.

America would be sunk. There are so many things that we get from other countries that I don't think that we could survive without trade with other countries. America does not produce like it used to we are no longer a manufacturing country we provide services and that is how we make the majority of our money.

examine the labels on your clothing, shoes, television, food, the workstation , or maybe the areas in and on your vehicle, and then ask returned. perhaps it particularly is the undesirable artwork ethic of our workers it particularly is in part in charge for what has occurred. CEO's and others have shipped jobs exterior of our borders and that's undesirable. I additionally see how lots of my co-workers choose to take a seat down on their butts at the same time as others artwork. a number of them in the event that they get some authority, sense they have a suitable to take a seat down and surf the internet or communicate on their cellular telephones all day long at the same time as their subordinates artwork. The mentality of workers in some western countries is pathetic.

Almost everything. Very little is actually built in this country any longer nor do Americans know HOW to build things any longer. If you don't believe this, just check out the country of origin of anything you pick up in a store... chances are... it will NOT say "Made in the U.S.A.".

about 90% of the industries in the united states would stop working. but then again united states companies would need to step up to the plate. foreign cars would not been seen (volvo, bmw, toyota, honda, hyundai, vw, daewoo). any united states product which would be manufacturer or assemble in other countries for example:china, taiwan, korea, south america, also would not be able to be imported. electronics including and not limited to tv, radios, computers.
