Yes. That's a copyright infringement.

Yes, it is. Books are protected by copyright. That means the author and the publisher control where it is published. There are good reasons for this. If you put the book on the internet, people can read it for free. How does the publisher recover the money he spent to publish it? How does the author get paid anything. If people did that, authors wouldn't be able to survive to write another book.
If you want to write a story of your own and put it on the internet, that's up to you.

No - but only if you get the permission from the author to use it in its entirety, no alterations and you give credit to the author of the writings - otherwise yes it would violate copy write laws which is considered a white collar crime and is punishable by a fine and jail time if found guilty - but not before charges are brought forward and damages determined, you would also have to pay restitution to the author for lost royalties - it is just not worth it. Do your own writings.

This depends upon the author, and whether or not a copyright exists for the book.

Normally, permission is not needed to publish excerpts from a book for the purposes of discussion, lecture, or review.

More often than not, copywright infringment goes un-noticed if the infraction doesn't draw attention to itself and isn't taking money away from the publisher/author/copywright holder.

A better idea would be for you to let people know how good the book is, and let them know where to buy it.

You share your opinion, others read, and the author is paid.

If you're interested in telling a story, I suggest finding a ghost writer- that is, someone who will listen to your ideas and write them out for you in their style.

If you wrote a book, it got published, and you started getting a couple of dollars for each copy that sold, would you be happy if someone just copied it and posted it online so others could read it without paying?

Just asking.

Yes it is against the law. You're basically plagarizing someone else's work. It's also called copyright infringement.

It depends on whether it's copyrighted. Most modern boorks are, but old ones are not. The copyright used to expire 40 years after the aouther's death, if I am not mistaken.

It is against copyright law. But you probably won't have to go to jail unless the writer finds out and call the FBI.

it depends on the copyright (if any) almost all published books are copywrited with all rights reserved you'd have to talk to who ever has the copywrite before you can legally publish it on the web if you write your own book you can put it anywhere on the web you want
