Visit a doctor. My doctor's office gave me a book with do's and don't's of pregnancy listed. If you have questions, there should be a nurse available to discuss them even if the doctor is busy. Go out and pick up "What To Expect When Expecting" by Heidi Murkoff, et all. It's the pregnancy Bible.

You shouldnt smoke anything, don't be around anyone that smokes cigs or drugs like weed, don't drink, don't push yourself too much, just pretty much take it easy for the nine months, oh yes and dont eat a lot of fish or tuna because it can hurt the baby. While Sweetie I am going thru the same thing as you right now I'm pregnant with my first child too so the best thing that me and my boyfriend did was go out and get a baby book and it has every thing in it. The book is calling what to except in motherhood.

definetly do not take any medicine and stay far far away from stress and dont let anything hit your stomach our you will loose the baby some medicines are ok but most medicines that relieve most pregnant pains are a big no no and never take diahreahal medicine during pregnancy that will burn so bad you would loose the child unless there is a medicine that you absolutely have to have i would definetly recommend staying away from all medicines until the baby is born and no sex at all because that will make it tear more then you will bleed and then that would force a miss carriage

in general you need to watch what you eat and drink...cut back on junk food, drink more water, avoid caffiene and increase your servings of fruits and veggies and whole grains. if you smoke or drink alcoholic beverages, you need to stop immediately. make an appointment with your doctor for sometime in the near future. you will have a few blood tests that need to be done and you will need to have a pelvic exam.do not try to start a new exercise routine, and never push yourself to the point of exhaustion. get as much rest as you can in the next nine months because life gets a little crazy with a new baby to care for. most of all....enjoy the pregnancy and look forward to your baby!!!

Don't do anything you aren't used to doing. If you aren't used to picking up heavy things, don't. If you are used to it, then it is ok. You can do anything you did before you got pregnant, just remember to take it a little easy, and if you get tired, stop and relax. You shouldn't drink or smoke, even if you are used to it!! Take your vitamins everyday, and eat healthy foods. Hope this helps! Congrats, and good luck!

Don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, don't do drugs. Don't sit in a hot tub...don't lift heavy things...don't take ibuprofen for headaches or other pains (regular strength Tylenol is fine)...don't drink an excess of caffeine (a few cups of coffee or tea is okay)...don't eat tuna or raw foods...don't eat a lot of sodium unless you want to swell up and get really uncomfortable...don't eat a lot of unhealthy foods...don't forget to take prenatal vitamins...don't lie flat on your back for a long period of time.

Talk with your doctor and he can tell you if you should restrict your activities due to a special problem. Otherwise, just live your life as normal as you can, but don't drink, smoke, or use drugs!
