Go to any folder in your computer. Go to TOOLS then FOLDER OPTIONS. Under the file type tab you can select what software you want to use to play that sound file.
Most of the time its quicktime.
Download free Quicktime at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html or you can also use realplayer at http://www.realplayer.com
You can always set it up to use whatever software you want.
