Oh yes, I am 2 pay checks away from being homeless. Any suggestions how to not be so poor?

Yes! It sucks!

PS, I recently learned that more than half of the people in America are only two paychecks away from being homeless. Meaning: If you were fired from a job, most people would be evicted from their homes within a month because they wouldn't be able to afford rent/mortgage. Scarey but so true!

Never make it pay check to pay check, that's why the credit card is so valuable.

Absolutely.
Actually it goes more like this:
Pay check to broke to pay check to broke to pay check to broke.

Yep. I'll be honest. I make a decent wage but I spend more than I make. Sometimes I'm broke about a week before payday.

I force myself to. Any money I don't spend on necessities (groceries, rent, bills, clothes) this paycheck gets invested as soon as my next paycheck clears. That way if anything does happen, I've got some cushion.
