To delete a folder in Hotmail:
Select the Mail tab from the Hotmail navigation bar.
Follow the Manage Folders link.
You can find this link under the list of folders at the left side of the screen.
If you see neither the list of folders nor the Manage Folders link, click the >> link above the message list to show them.
Make sure the box next to the folder you want to delete is checked.
Select Delete from the toolbar.
Click OK.

if you are trying to delete the default folders in your hotmail accout i.e. Inbox, Sent Messages....etc, you can't. Those are administered by hotmail.
If it is a folder that you created, you click on manage folder, then click in the box next to the folder and then click on delete.

No because I dumped hotmail immediately after I learned that they go back and remove the spam filters that you put in place. That was it for me! With all the email accounts available - why Hotmail??? Lemme guess - you use AOL to?
