It's not enough to deserve to qualify because anyone could say that about any team. You need to win matches to qualify and whilst having a good defensive strategy and some good breaking attacks, they didn't really manage to push forward enough in either of their matches against England and Sweden.
In fact most of yesterday's game was played in the Trinidad and Tobagian half same goes for the Sweden game. They defended well and stretched the England defence a few times but didn't manage to score.
The last minute goal by Stern John in my opinion as an England supporter should have been let in, it was a just ending for the team and plus had class and style with the little backheel flick between Robinson's legs. Pure class Trinidad and Tobago are a good team with the potential to go further than they have before. I would love to see them follow us into the second round by beating Paraquay coupled by us beating Sweden.
That would be a brillant thing for them.

The Ivory Coast deserved to qualify, they Put up a good fight and have some good players. They`re only going home because the were pitted against two of the best teams in the world. Trinidad, on the other hand, are a bunch of journeymen. They were quite happy just to get this far.

No way.
Its a fact of the tournament that only 2 teams go through and you can't honestly say that the argies or the dutch should go out over the Ivory Coast when they got the results they needed, and its the same for England and Sweden!
Its Trinidads first time in the cup and they did well good on them

yes T&T deserves to qualify! they were better than Sweeden.
the Ivory Coast also did well but it's hard to make it to the next round when they have Argentina and The Netherlands in their group, bad luck for them, i guess

Nope. It IS unfair that Ivory Coast are not going through though, for the fantastic brand of football, only Argentina can match (based on their match against Serbia & Montenegro).

They haven't scored a goal yet so I don't think they deserve it. They still have a chance tho. If England beat Sweden 1-0, T&T need to beat Paraguay 2-0.

Unfortunately they needed to get more points than England & Sweden. That's life I'm afraid.
Not really unfair.
