Is Steve < Patch> really blind in one eye or is that just his charcater

It is just the character. I saw an interview with him in which he said it is hard to adjust to wearing that patch again. It throws off his depth perception and balance until he gets used to it.

I think he is really blind and then they just started up with the nick name patch!
