Are the stories and people on the Maury show true?

My ex-husband refuses to pay support or visit with our special needs daughter, because ha says that she is not his. His new wife (that he just married a few months ago) says there is no way that my daughter is his (my daughter is 6 and he had dated this woman for 2 months before marring her). DNA tests aren't cheap, so I decided to go ahead and call and see if they could help me. I have tried to get on this show like 10 times. One time they told me if I knew all the information they could help me, so I gave it to them. Then they said someone would call me back, they never did.

I have a friend who went to a Maury show about two years ago and she told me that it was fake. I personally think that with Maury some shows are true while others are fake. For example, those that are about "opposites attract" are fake but like those about people with deformity or animals are true.

I can't answer for the Maury show, but I personally know a person that totally made up a story and got on the Rikki Lake show about 10 years ago. He got in a fake fight with his friend and everything.

i know that animal guy is real. the people on Springer are fakers, you can tell by the bad acting. but people really have problems like the ones Maury shows, so who really knows. good question.

A friend from my elementary school was on one of those "are you cheating?" shows. Turns out he has cheated before (true) but was not cheating then or some bs like that.
