I am sure your parents took pictures of you naked when your were just born becasue they thought it was cute. Is that porn? Is that any different than say, naked pics of a 3 year old, or an 8 year old? When does taking pictues of a child become porn instead of a memory in a photo album?

well now a days you have to be really careful. my general rule is no taking pictures of genitals. baby butt pictures are okay, and if they dont have a shirt on, thats okay too. but no genital pictures because those could be considered porn. and they should not be posed in a way that most would consider a sexual pose. and once they are older than the age of 4 i would say no naked pics at all.

I don't think pictures of any child under the age of eight (at least) can possibly be considered porn unless that is the INTENT of the person taking the picture. The fact that some pervert might jack off to it does not make it porn. Some people might jack off to a picture of Bob Dole giving a speech too, does that make Bob Dole porn?

As far as being safe, I think about three is the limit, if that old. Mostly because people are so over-protective about children that no matter how good a parent you are, it is a risk of losing your children and going to jail just for taking the pictures.

It's porn when you start posing your child suggestively. Also, there is a big difference between taking a picture of your three year old covered in bubbles in a tub and taking a picture of your eight year old naked in the tub. I would say there's a certain age where children become modest and don't want naked pictures taken. Normal parents understand and respect that.

When you post it on a website. When you use it to intentionally harm a child. When the child is posed in a suggestive manner. When you sell the pics. I think that when you have a few baby pics of an infant in its natural state is not a bad thing. It is all in what you do with it that makes it right or wrong.

It's primarily the intent. If you take a picture of your child because she/he is naked and you get sexual feelings from it, it is porn. If you take a photo of a naked child that you have posed in a sexual position, it is porn. If you have take a picture of a child who is covered in mud from head to toes because it is *cute*, it is not porn.

I can understand taking pictures of a baby maybe even a toddler, but not when they're older than two, there shouldn't be a reason to take naked pictures of them, ever.

i think the issue would be more about the thoughts behind taking the picture. i can take a picture of my son in the tub because i think it's cute but if you were doing to fulfil dirty thoughts then it's wrong.

It's really a non-issue. I mean, how many naked pictures do you really need to take of your child anyway? What's wrong with you?

i would say 5years and older, they are getting to old for nude pics. you don't wanna introduce that to them bc if someone else was to try and take some they would feel it natural. 8 is to old for it. wouldnt call it porn do to the situation but defenatly to old
