cause you want your makeup to make you look better not match your outfit...it's ok to use some shadow or lip color in the same family as your outfit, but if it is a bright outfit, that's enough color for you and keep the makeup simpler....and who cares about do's and don'ts...do what you feel looks good on you!

I think that matching your eyeshadow to outfit exactly can be too matchy-matchy. If you use a variety of shades of the same color it can look less planned. Just remember to pick colors that work with your skin tone and the colors you are wearing.

Well, personally, I think you should wear makeup to compliment your features, not your outfit. My friend matches her makeup with her clothes and sometimes it just looks horrible. I love her to death, but it'd look a lot better matching her face =)

It's not really.
Only make-up I really where is think black
eyeliner almost every day.
It just doesn't look right to some people,
I wouldn't suggest it. I can't really say
what there is about it, like a certain something
seems off, but you don't know what.
It looks more soothing if you math, more
appealing?

there's no such things as fashions do's or donts, do whatever you want with ur makeup,as long as u feel good and like it,who cares what Cosmo thinks.i tend to match my eyeshadow with my shirt at times and i like it damn it,so screw the system and all the rules,RAGE!!!RAGE!!!
