Me and my boyfriend are going on a out of town trip on a 10 hour trip. He's driving so we can't play board games. What kind of things can we do while traveling on the road for 10 hours?

Pick a somewhat rare vehicle or a certain odd color of vehicle (yellow or orange maybe) and the first person that spots one of these and announces the fact "yellow car!" gets one point. It sounds stupid but makes time pass.

My husband (then boyfriend) and I took a 12 hour trip to New York after dating for less than a month. We took along a book called The Book of Questions. It really helped us to get to know each other. Only one warning, make sure you are open to hearing any answer before you ask the question. You don't want to get mad or be fighting throughout your trip. Also, some of the kiddy trip games, such as I see or the alphabet game can be fun and give you a little of that young feeling. Also, just talking and getting to know each other is nice. We also liked to listen to some of the local radio stations for a while, give each other a breather from the needing to talk and give you an idea of what's going on in other states and cities.

My husband and I have learned we travel well together. We've taken one other really big trip - 14 hours and then we go to Michigan - a 6 hour trip- two to three times a year. We enjoy each other's company and know when the other isn't in the mood for talking. It's nice.

How bout that fun game called "hide the sausage in the can". Or that other game called beat the bishop. Seriously, give the guy a break he's driving 10 hours.

find certain cars, collect car colors, state tags, weird people, count trucks or something. sing, point out things you like, guess songs, count animals, have fun. hope this has helped you.
