Good question. I must inform those who answered that players DO wear cups are unfortunately misinformed. In football (soccer) players don't wear cups simply because the trade-off isn't worthwhile. A goalie needs to be able to have full range of motion, so does a defender, forward, or halfback who needs to be able to run full speed after the ball. Practically NO players use cups at the professional level because the protection it provides (most likely wont be needed say the stats) isn't worth giving up some movement and speed. Hope that answered it for you!

Dead right about the prima donnas - i can remember them getting muddy too! Hey what fun popping all that lot OA: I've had loads,, but the most annoying was last year when a woman on her bike was riding on the pavement and knocked me down from behind.. what chance did I get?? I split my eyebrow on a metal sign chipped a tooth , knocked out , ripped an expensive coat, and had a bike tyre bruise mark up my leg for weeks. Ending up having my eyebrow glued in A & E and got a scar. The cow didn't stop either. However typing it does make it quite funny.. 2: Went to visit my sister when she was living in Greece - first night lots of ouzo - she's bigger and taller than me - we were dancing around and she let go of me.. ended under a table with a broken foot... and no hospital -- drink kills pain ..

Why do so many americans say cups???? NO football or soccer players do not wear cups or protectors..... Some wear jock straps but these are old in the game and not common any more. Most players wear tight fitting under pants to hold their genitilia firm in place and located away from being struck.

Heck yes they do. Any guy who engages in athletic activities should wear one for sure. However, they can chafe the penis skin, so it is a good idea to use a penis skin moisturizer to counteract this effect. I recommend Man1 Man Oil. It contains all-natural ingredients and works great. Hope this helps.

Did Dwight Yorke look as if he was wearing a cup?
Considering how he was writhing on the ground, I don't think so.
I don't think they do, the ball isn't as hard as baseballs and it doesn't really travel at that height.

No one uses protection in football, other than shin pads. It's not often that you get hit there anyway.
