My nails are splitting and would like a product to protect them, but don't want to use a product that has the nasty chemicals. Heard about Almay Organic, but haven't seen any reviews.

Seche is the best. They have a full range of nail care, try the straightener and massage your cuticle area with Solar Cuticle Oil from Creative daily. By massaging your cuticle area promotes healthier nail growth and soften the dry cuticle. If you need a polish remover, pls use the acetone free type. Files your nails gently, if the nail file are too rough, it can cause splitting nail.

garlic. aloe, and my favorite "onymyrrhe".

onymyrrhe is a natural derivative of the myrrhe plant. Since I started using it, my nails have not even chiped and are rarly scratched. It is a little expensive, but a contained can last you for over a year. You can find it at http://www.headtotoebeauty.com/store/index.php
