GOOGLE! In the same shoes you are... talk about HOURS of research... best bet is collegeboard.com, go to for students, then click college finder, then select your criteria (independant learning, wired, distance/correspondance, stuff along those lines) then click show me results. there will probably be some 400 schools that offer distance learning.... its actually been a great help to me :-)
PS> don't forget to type in what kind of classes you want the school to offer, narrows down the search a bit.

I think it is the Association of Universities is having the list of accreditted universities.Or check in any University Information Centre.
