let's say i downloaded a PS2 (or xbox, gamecube, etc) game. how can i play it on my computer (since i know it won't work on the PS2 w/o a modchip)? i know i have to use an emulator, but will it play perfectly with a fast performace computer?

well. obviously I should dial 999 right now BUT a good emulator supporting that game SHOULD work. no guarantees tho.

Emulated games will never perform absolutely perfectly, like they would on the platforms they were designed for. However, having a PC that has the same or better general specs of the game's original console will help considerably.

actually, i've tried this. you do need an emulator, but all the ones out there can't play commercially made games.

p.s. all the ps2 emulators are really slow anyway...

yes I think that it should work on just about any normal CPU because if you can download it off of a computer then you should be able to play it on it too

yes, sometimes but it may stall and not play sometimes.
