I want a nice pen for work. I don't know many brands except Mont Blanc... are they it worth it in functionality, or are they just for style?

Pelikan has a very nice assortment of styles and types. I like the Technixx Ballpoints. They are attractive and weighted just enough to allow for comfortable and skillful inscription.

I have used many pens in my life, and have paid fairly high prices for some, cross used to be my favorite, however.
I found an inexpensive pen that writes better than ANY high price pen I have ever had.
It is called a Pilot G-2 Gel pen.
Once you use one, you won't want to use anything else.

Mont Blanc for status quo and Parker for style. Both are tops.

Just get that bag of ten pens from walmart. Don't get the cheapest ones becasue they don't write and gel pens tend to write only sometimes after you use them.
