Breath in very slowly
Take as much air as your lungs will hold.
Hold this air for as long as you can.
Release the air slowly.

You will find that you will calm down with the breathing exercise. While simple, it really does work.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

What I usually do is go into another room ( or just walk away from what or who is ticking you off) and I say to myself to calm down over and over and when I begin to cool off, I think of a better way to handle the situation. The more ticked off I am, the longer I have to stay away from who or what is ticking me off...But,you do calm down.

Exercise. If I get really pissed off at something I'll go out and run. 4, 5, or 6 miles later, I'm feeling a lot better.

Remove yourself from the situation. Close your eyes and take about 10 really deep breaths. Think about the last thing that made you laugh out loud. If it is no longer funny - Think about the one place in the world you like more than any other.

i write poems about the person. whatever you do, don't take it out on someone or something living. take it out on an object that is not living. maybe you should try writing a song...some of the best songs are written when the artist was pissed. if you get a record deal, look me up. don't forget us little people. lol.

Take a deep breath and reevaluate whether it's really worth your energy getting upset...usually, it's not. ;)

Or, you can always have some ice cream on a cone. That always puts a smile on my face.
