I guess it's sort of the same thing as cutting yourself, in some ways, but some people also find it fun or relaxing. What's the allure?

It doesn't hurt that bad. It's sort of fun b/c you have to force yourself to put (the hot object) onto your skin. Try using a small piece of metal, get it hot and hold it on your skin for a while, until it gets cold. Or until you can't take the pain any longer. By the way, if you are into that stuff try Psyke.org, it has a lot of graphic pictures and personal stories.

If you really want to know what it feels like, hold a finger or hand over the flame on a stove,lighter or match. If you don't really want to epxeriment yourself & find out first-hand, ask someone who has survived a fire of some kind. I have both worked with burn survivors & talked to some after their scars have healed. Another way to get an idea of what it might feel like is to either experiment yourself ( & get a sunburn) or talk to someone who has had a very bad sunburn.

It hurts alot it feels like breaking your arm except ten times worse it is not fun. If you get an third degree burn you could be in pain for years trust me I know from experience.

I have a third egree burn on my leg, and i gotta say it jus fuking hurts... no allure here. an dalos not looking forward to the huge scar I"m gonna have after it heals. (didn't do it on purpose bTW)

If you mean you do it to hurt your self then ow that would hurt like a ***** cuz i know when i am cooking that happens but not like i want to do that though. please get help.

Don't do it!!!! I have burned myself BY ACCIDENT and it hurts. It would be weird to do it on purpose. It would damage your skin. OWIE!!!!!!
