The Oakland Raiders are the team who have not only won three superbowls and been part of countless firsts and only moments in NFL history. They are the team which brings the most colour to the NFL, has the greatest fans and the toughest image.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the 1971 Miami Dolphins. They are the only tewm in NFL history to win EVERY game in that season including the Superbowl!! The 85 Bears lost 1 game that season..... to the Dolphins!!

There are too many variables to make such a blanket statement.
1- Before or After Steroids?
2- Changes in the ball
3- Changes in the types of field (even grass without cow piles)
4- Changes in equipment
5- Better medical and training facilities
6- Changes in the rules
(a) speed up the game
(b) make it more offense driven to increase scoring
(c) free agency. which has eliminated the real team
concept and made it a game of individuals.
So you see there is no answer to your question. How high is up?

The 72-73 DOLPHINS are still poppin bottles of Krystal after every team in history loses a game. They played 2 QB's in Greise and backup Earl Morrall(10 games), # backs iin Csonka, Morris, and Kick. And who can forget the famous No-Name Defense. This team won 17 straight games. Until another team in any generation goes undefeated. The 72-73 MIAMI DOLPHINS ARE THE BEST TEAM (not organization) IN NFL HISTORY.................. HANDS DOWN!!!!

By year or by franchise history? By year I would choose either the '85 Bears or the '72 Dolphins. By franchise I would say (painfully to this Bengals fan) the Steelers, Cowboys, or Packers. A lot of championships between those three teams.

There are 3 teams with 5 rings my dear.

SF, Dal and Pitt

Of the three I would have to say the 49ers were better in their prime than the other two.

But I am a die hard Chiefs Fan so I pick KC!!!

It's the Dallas Cowboys. No question about it.

No team has won more Superbowls. No team has been to more Superbowls. No team has even come close to 20 consecutive winning seasons like the Dallas Cowboys did.
