No its not too early. You can have braxton hicks as early as the 20th week. In second or third pregnancies they can be felt even earlier. I have had carpal tunnel and bad back problems with my second and this baby. I had to sleep on the love seat the last 3 months pregnant because I couldnt find any solution. Sorry, and good luck!

(1) First , I wish you may give a lucky birth.
(2) Though I am a male , I concern that I may be a right person to provide some ideas for you because I am a father of five children and my wife has given natural births for my all children.
.
(3) I mention here the factors which were behind it for your convenience.
a) Making a strong belief that a woman can give a natural birth without doing any other special progam.
b) A stress reduction program to live in a calm mind.( She meditated twice a day when getting up and going to the bed.)
c) Having much nutritional contained fresh food ( She took only vegetables especially bitter gourd, carrot, jak fruit, beans etc and cereals and fruits)
d) Taking enough exercise to improve the health condition.( She walked two km per day because she is a teacher and her School was one km away from our house.)
e) A 15 minutes religious program to acquire a calm mind( we went to the temple every day to worship lord Buddha because we are Buddhists.)
(4) You will have a natural and lucky birth If you are able to apply above mentioned steps.

Try finding a Chiropractor that works with preggies... You wont be sorry.. My prob was in the hip joint and that first adjustment was wonderful. Contrary to belief of once you start chiropractic services, you have to continue.. that is not the case. Just go when you need to.. But you need to go. Also if that doesnt seem to help, go to the doctor. If your going into labor, of course that is not good... you may be on bed rest the rest of pregnancy

I started having Braxton Hicks contractions at 8 weeks along. However, they were all painless. Perhaps you need more calcium.

No, but if they are in your back, you should see your doctor. BH contractions aren't usually in your back. Have you tried massage therapy or acupuncture for your back? My husband is a Chiropractor and adjustments & massage really helped my low back. Also, try swimming. It can really relieve some of the pressure.
