there's a war on terror, but we're definetely not doing too well.
we're focusing on the middle east. what about countries like North Korea??? they have weapons, and guess what, we're not doing anything about them.
and then there are the terrorists in our own country. remember the Oklahoma City bombing and Tim McVeigh?

Call me crazy but the terrorists that have attacked us time and time again are members of al-Qaeda. They were centered in Afghanistan. They are now centered in a cave. We haven't been attacked on our home soil since we started this fight. Seems like we're winning.
Then again, we've invaded a country that had no ties to al-Qaeda until after we showed up, spent more money than the entire African continent spends on food for a year, gotten quite a few of our soldiers killed, killed even more civilians, have potentially started a civil war, given up a few of our civil liberties, put a serious strain on the world's oil market, agitated almost every country bordering Iraq and a few that don't, destroyed our already poor international image, and probably created thousands of orphans that, along with other relatives of killed civilians and various pissed off people, are going to become the new terrorists as the years progress.
So it's a draw you might say. I wouldn't, though.

Through Out History we have fought wars against terror. we have alway kicked ***. The only difference between now and then is .... This War of Terror in in the public eye ( due to the fact that it gave politicians an excuse to invade Iraq) its a good way to get support from the public. I support our country in its actions and I am sure that Iraq will mange to stand on its on in the future.

It will never end because to me it seems that Bush is trying to fight all evil over there. We all know it will never stop. Plus if you ask some of my classmates they would rather talk about Brad and Angelina than the War on Terror. The only people who truly car about it is the ones with a family member risking their life everyday. So yes we lose.

The answer is simple. The United States is the biggest dealer in arms and weapons in the World. So who are these terrorist? Where did they come from? Why do they hate us? What is the difference between our tactics fighting the British in the War of Independence and the so called terrorist of today. Why do those who blame us for everything have to blow themselves up to fight us? When is it that the American Government will resemble Italy's Government?
