'Girls gone wild' vedios bought by Katrina 'victims' is not even the tip of the iceberg. Every month the Welfare recipients buy ciggerretts, booze, drugs, lottery, guns and ammo, pet-food, ****, pay-per-view events and much more with our tax dollars. We then also pay for the medicare spending for diseases caused buy tobacoo, alcohol and drugs.
Why can't goventment have a debit card that controls what these freeloaders can buy with OUR money? A card that is good on only some stores that accept it and rejects all not-essential items -so if I am one of these freeloades and go to a conviniece store and get a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread and a pack of ciggerrettes and a lotery ticket, the card would pay for the first two but reject payment on last two?
I can already hear the bleeding heart liberals saying that the welfare fraud is nothing in comparison to corporate giveaways - but stoping one does not proclude us from stoping the otther- the two are independent - and it all matters!

I agree that government went wild during Katrina included a sex change operation. ( Hurricane expense ? ) But a forced balanced budget sounds great but could be dangerous. Some years there are true needs for welfare & sometimes protecting a corporation that employs tens of thousands is neccessary, sometimes there is war & military expenses will go through roof, sometimes there is the Twin Tower emergency & NY will need to be helped. A balanced budget does not account for these things. I paid 30% of my income to federal taxes alone, but where would I cut taxes - the pork that gets added to bills. Make it illegal to tack an extra bill to one the public has spoken on & supported. You do not vote against education but what does a 3 million dollar highway in the middle of nowhere have to do with education.

Just so you know I am a Republican. The only reason this is even an issue is because we are capitilist country which means the middle class is dying out the poor are getting poorer while the rich get richer so really this isn't the issue, the issue is changing the way society thinks (celebrity obsession, material minded, status) so that welfare can become obsolete.

I DO AGREE THAT OUR MONEY IS SPENT CARELESS. THE REASON THAT HAPPENS BECAUSE MOST OF THESE SO CALL WELFARE RECIPIENTS ARE UNEDUCATED. IF THE GOVENTMENT SPENT MORE MONEY AND TIME ON EDUCATED THESE PEOPLE THIS WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE.
