I am 14 and I really want to have sex, but I don't want to get AIDS or anything. I just really feel the need to have sex, I have a boyfriend and I have discussed it with him, we both want to, but is this super unsafe? What are my chances of getting HIV?

You probably don't want to hear this....
But you should wait.
Sex is nothing to rush into or just give away.
Start to masturbate if you "feel the need" to have sex.
Seriously, masturbate.
There is not only Aids out there....
What about all the other STD's?
Have you read about those?
What about pregnancy?
If you're serious about having sex at such a young age...
Please look into birth control. The Pill
That will prevent another child in this world from having a child.
Always,Always,Always use a condom.
No exceptions.

Yes, it's unsafe at 14 to have sex both physically and emotionally. You sound semi-educated about STDs, what about parenting? Are you ready to raise and support a child? The most responsible thing that you can do at this point in your life is to postpone sex until you can handle the repercussions. Not to mention that when you meet the man you're going to marry (and no, it's not your boyfriend at age 14, trust me, I've been there) wouldn't it be great if you could honestly tell him that he was your first? Do you know how appealing that is to a man? Once you give up your virginity, there is no way to get it back, and I'm fairly sure that if you do that at age 14 you will surely regret it later. I speak from experience.

it seems like u are not ready yet to have sex if u dont know as much facts.if u do decide to have sex,u will probably say that u dont regret it(as for now),but once u get older and realize what its all about u may regret it,but really no one at all finds there love at the age 14 and whenever u do have sex with someone that u really know that u love and u have already gave it up and down the road u will be like omg cant believe i gave it up when i was 14 and wont even talk to the boy anymore probably even on hating him. i think u should wait and even if u feel the urge to do it right now,who doesn't but you should wait until u know u are ready.

If you are 14, you are not ready for sex. Suppose you end up pregnant? No birth control is 100% effective.
What will you tell your parents? How can you raise a kid when you're a kid? Can you cope with the emotional trauma of having a child and putting it up for adoption? Or of having an abortion?

A good rule of thumb is that you should not have sex until you are old enough to drive yourself to the doctor's office for prenatal visits.
