a lump - call you doctor if you even THINK you might have a chance of having it - early detection is the only way to survive it!!!!

Unless it has developed further along when you catch it, Breast Cancer has no apparent signs or symptoms. You should have a breast exam done at your OB/Gyn every year along with you pap smear. The only way to tell early is an unusually lump in the breast, and the lump can sometimes be accompanied by pain when it's touched. It is very hard to tell doing it yourself because of the regular lumpiness of the breast itself. A doctor can tell which ones are yours and which ones are not supposed to be there. Finding a lump in the breast. Generally breast cancer does not have any outward symptoms. You may have a swollen lymph node in your armpit.
If you are worried about it, go to the doctor and have them check for you. Sometimes they can do a better breast exam than you can do at home. If they think they notice anything, they will schedule some kind of mammogram.

A lump in your breast is the first and really only "sign" there might be a melanoma. Get a mammogram

The most common sign is pain, a big unmovable lump..Man I felt a lump in my breast and it was unmoveable and it was painfullllllll. Esp during my period..Well,. then I found out it was cancer but I am in full remission-exactly one yr 6/14/06..yay!! But back to you-if u are talkin about u get checked. See if it is cancer at least if it hasn't spread to the lymph nodes or the surrounding breast tissue you are cool But yeah those are the most common signs..take care
