You need to buy transfer software. I have something by Sony that came with a cable to hook up the record player to the computer, and it converts the tracks into mp3's. Do some searching around on the internet and you'll find what you need.

You just need a cable to run from your record player to the audio input on your PC. Ask someone at Radio Shack, Best Buys, Circuit City, etc. They can help you find the right thing.

I would suggest that you simply buy the CD's. You would need to buy a new record player that connects to the computer to download into .mp3 or .wave or another playable format. It's not worth it, trust me. I did it with my tapes and it is just too much work for too much money.
