I have both. When I was still single and partying a lot, I enjoyed my cat because she was independant and could be on her own when I was away. Now that I am married and home a lot more, I love my dog. She goes on camping trips with us and I look forward to when my son (am 6 months pregnant) and my doggy become good friends.

That is a really tuff question because each animal caries it's own frustrations. Cat's have the whole litter box thing and also get hair everywhere. Dog's need more attention, have to be let out all the time, and like to dig and chew up things. I personally like dogs better. Cats can be so independent and not as friendly where as dogs want your attention and make you feel like you have a friend as a pet. They are a lot more fun if you are an active person.

Cats
1) You do not have to walk them
2) They take care of themselves
3) They don't slobber all over you while you are sitting having a cup of tea and something to eat!
4) They are so amusing! Especially burmese, just they way they play and try to get your attention! I can't describe it, you would need to see for yourself!
5) They don't bark bark bark bark and bark! They meow to greet you and talk to you, plus the lil meow is cute!
6) They can sleep with you on your bed and cuddle up to you, can you imagine a big dog ontop of you! or a little dog yapping in your ear if it hears another dog outside!
7) Not as much work a lot easier
8) They bond with you A LOT more than people think (esp. burmese)
I have had both dog and cat
The dog sadly passed away
I just got the cat
Def the cat, tho I do love dogs! :)

Depending on the type of cat it is, dogs are better. DON'T GET A CAT WITH LONG HAIR UNLESS YOU LIKE CLEANING UP HAIR BALLS. I have another cat that I just love to death, he sleeps with you, and just LOVES cuddling with you, he's playful, and if he does something wrong, and you punish him, he'll forget about it in a minute. However, dogs can tend to be lazier as they get older, so depending on if you are an active person and want to frisbee with him. It really depends on what you want out of an animal

I actually have had both and performance to allow you to understand they both make large pets And it relies upon the position you stay in what style of animal you ought to have..I effective desire better human beings would imagine that way once you've your own residence and many room and a competent length backyard i think you've one of each! in case you stay on my own also it quite is a few area of imagine about... also the scale of a canines is a few area of imagine about a cat can take reliable care of them self's...i understand a cat will be at liberty climate they're a in aspect cat or both in and out aspect one yet canines are diverse they desire to run and play and detect and scent stuff I actually have 2 mixed canines and performance a fenced in backyard for them plus I take them just about each the position i bypass..Which I actually have got here across isn't continuously the most appropriate element because they are so used to going places with me that on the cases they could't bypass they cry like little little ones! A canines is type of a baby and a canines or any animal it quite is a puppy could be dealt with with Love entire Love from the relations and be in with the relations also I hate seeing canines tied up out aspect and no human being ever being with them merely to feed and water them isn't sufficient! So I say it relies upon on the position you stay and how you stay and how a lot time you're waiting to spend with an animal!!!

I like puppies better! In my opinion, I think a dog can bond better with a human that a cat. My dog and I have a very special bond and sometimes I think he understands more than what I realize!

ok, well, if MY LIFE depended on it i would have to say CATS. the reason being that cats require less maintenance. they bathe themselves so you don't have to like with dogs. they're very very smart...i mean dogs are smart too but if you smack you dog and then call it to you...it comes no matter how many times you do this it will keep coming back. a cat on the other hand if you smack it then call it to you it just looks at you like 'uhh, yeah right biitch so you can hit me again? i don't think so!!' you have to really earn a cats love and affection whereas most dogs will go up to and love on ANYONE no matter who they are. cats, love you because they WANT to. a dog 'loves' you because it is afraid of you to them you are the ALFA male (even if you're female) and they have to listen to you. and my last and most important reason is that you can put a kitten in the litter box ONE time and let them smell it and BAM they're potty trained!! and we all know it is not that simple with puppies who tend to have several 'accidents' in the house before FINALLY catching on that 'potty' is OUTSIDE!!!! oh, and one more thing cats don't take up the whole entire bed at night time either!!!
oh AND my cats play fetch just like dogs...yes FETCH it's the cutest thing!!!

Totally dogs. dogs are all about protecting you & cats if somebody tries to hurt you they'll run away! Dogs like to play with you a'lot and cats are stuck up animals that only care about their self.
